“Never again”

  , Colorado Springs, Colorado
This place was just awful. Everything needed to be cleaned. From the cigarette butts out front to the un- vacuumed lobby, hallways, it didn't get any better. When I made my reservation, I asked about the pool and hot tub. I was told yes, they had both. 3 hours later, when I checked in, both were out of order. So I decided to read my book in a hot bath. No go there either since there was no stopper in the tub. I called the front desk to get one... Never happened. At bedtime , I appreciated the blanket being wrapped in sheets, but it smelled musty and mildew like it was gross. The carpeting did not meet the door in the room and the remote did not work. When I asked if my room had an outside or interior hallway, the agent told me it was interior. Wrong. It faced an interior courtyard, but my door still was open and exposed to anybody. Since I was alone, this bothered me. Especially since I asked. Finally, the next morning, breakfast was a disaster since they had ceiling tiles falling down and wouldn't let us eat in the breakfast room. They wanted us to take out food back to our rooms. Not so bad fir me, but the families w two toddlers of two trying to balance the kids and trays... :(. I knew that it had rained heavily two days prior, but come on, two days... Get it together. Even though it wasn't the most expensive place, I will take my money elsewhere. I am not a fancy person, but this place really disappointed me.
