“OUR STAY AT THE RAMADA INN IN RICHLAND CENTER, WI”

  , Greenville
We traveled from Greenville, SC to Richland Center, WI, without stopping except for food, gas and restroom breaks. The trip took approximately 16 hours. When I made the reservation they stated we could check into the room at 4:00 PM. When we went to check in we were told we couldn't get into our room until 6:00 PM. They were having a wedding reception in the INN that day and evening. We went to the restaurant in the Inn to eat, two of the children from the wedding reception came running and screaming in through the restaurant. Thankfully, one of the waitress caught them and told them to return to the first floor where the reception was going on. That night the children (many) were running up and down the hall screaming and yelling. Our grandson was almost knocked down by them when he stepped out of his room. My daughter told the kids to stop running up and down the halls, both on the 1st and 2nd floor, which of course did not stop them! When we went to bed they continued to make noise and the room above us had people staying in it from the reception. The kids were jumping off the bed, laughing and screaming. Finally, at 10:30 PM I called the front desk and asked them to do somethind about the noise. They did go to the room, but the noise got louder and continued until almost midnight. Needless to say, we didn't get a lot of sleep that night. When we went to breakfast in the restaurant the next morning for breakfast, there were several table around us talking on how they had the same problems. I told the clerk they needed to consider the rest of the guest in the INN who are trying to sleep when they have these kind of receptions and maintain better control of the situation. They did give us a discount of the rooms. The rooms were very clean and nicely arranged. My daughters room, which was next to ours, did have a problem with the air conditioner the whole time we were there. It would begin cooling and then shut off and not come back on. She reported it to the front desk. It was finally fixed our last night there Otherwise we did have a nice stay. Our sleep quality he first night was terrible, but the rest of the sty was very good.
