“Disappointed by the smell but at least the bed was nice.”

  , Hinckley
Our room had an odd smell to it. I couldn't quite place it. A combination of old sweat socks and litter box. I tried to locate where it was coming from but the source eluded me. I will say that the bed was nice though. The shower was interesting too. Trying to find the sweet spot between scalding hot and freezing cold was tricky and I'm pretty sure I burned the tops of my feet. We had the same problem with the room heat. No matter how much I fiddled I couldn't find a temperature that was moderate. Either too hot or too cold. We opted for the cold and cuddling. The restaurant in the hotel was overpriced and the food was mediocre( and that is being nice). I didn't try the bar but one look in on a Saturday night revealed that it wasn't my kind of place. Oh yeah, the lobby was nice. Overall for the price I'd say go across the street to the DoubleDay.
