“disappointed.”; Mar 06, 2013 Glenn F, Waukesha; Friday night at 2:00 am a fight on the 5th floor with 4 squads of police necessary to calm the storm. We were told by 2 different people that we could have snacks at the pool. Then the shift mgr came and told us only food purchased at the restaurant could be at the pool. The restaurant doesn't sell snacks. Chips, cheese, dip, etc. At breakfast the pans were empty by 8:00 am and it took 25 minutes to get bacon and french toast. The hash browns were barely done. The tables were a mess. My 9 yr old grandson got stuck on the waterslide and tried to go back up. His mistake, yes but the lifeguard took him by the hand and set him down at an empty table for a 15 minute timeout. We had family there. He should have brought it to our attn. He has NO authority to punish a 9 yr old with family there.

Thank you for taking the time out or your day to write a review of our hotel and for staying at our Ramada Plaza Green Bay. I apologize for the disruption during your stay with the police. Our staff is trained on how to handle certain situations, and when police attendance is needed we do call them to ensure the safety of our guests. Our hotel was particularly busy this weekend and there is no excuse for not having the food on the buffet out quickly enough. We have reviewed our preparation lists in our restaurant so we do not run into this problem again. I did speak in great length with the mother of your grandson regarding the situation with our lifeguards, along with the staff directly on how to handle this situation moving forward. Again I think you for your comments and for staying at our hotel. « hide
