“What a disappointment!”

I took my daughter to Morgantown, WV for her freshman orientation at WVU.I had hoped to find a descent hotel I could stick with for future trips to visit my daughter. The lobby was nice but that was it. The halls smelled like cigarette smoke and musk. My room was very outdated. It didn't smell of smoke but was very musky. The pillows and bed left a lot to be desired. At the lounge we were served a glass of red wine that had obviously been open too long. The barmaid was apologetic and served us a cab. My husband got the last of a bottle and I was served freshly opened bottle. It was obvious that his bottle had sat opened too long. We compared my glass with his and boy was there a difference! We didn't want to complain again so he just dealt with it. The staff however was very friendly -no complaints there. I really expected better from a Wyndham property.
