“If you're not looking for a good night's sleep....”

Saturday, after driving for an intense 5 1/2 hours, up and down mountains, in the rain, to get there, all we wanted to do was settle in and relax. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a beautiful entrance way. The desk clerk couldn't have been nicer. Then came our room. 1st floor, facing the courtyard. The headboard of our bed shared a wall with the elevator. It rumbled, beeped, and vibrated constantly. We went back downstairs to ask for another room. Completely booked...try again tomorrow. That night I was awakened at 11:30 PM by loud laughter and yelling outside our window. I opened the window and told the people that they had woken me up, and could they please be quiet. They apologized. More people woke me up at 3:17 AM. I again opened the window to complain. Then again at 6:30 AM. I gave up sleeping. When we went down to have a really nice "included" breakfast, I complained to the desk clerk. He looked about 19 and bored, and told me he was the night clerk, and that I had to talk to the day clerk. We did that after breakfast. All they said was how sorry they were. Still no open room to switch to. It appears that the smoking area for the night club is outside our window. Friday night. 11:30 PM, loud talking outside the window. I asked them to lower the noise, most did. 3:30 AM, I was awakened by screaming, laughter, yelling, crude language, and bottles breaking. I called the front desk to complain. I got a busy signal until my 3rd try. I told the clerk to do something. He said he would try. Nothing happened. 10 minutes later they went inside only to be back outyside at 4:30 doing the same things. We went down for breakfast before checking out. I complained to the clerk about all the noise of the elevator and the people in the courtyard. She apologized. I told her I didn't want an apology, I wanted my money back. She called her supervisor. They only agreed to refund Saturday night back. I will be contacting Ramada about all of this.
