“Ramada Limited Downtown Vancouver”

  , Sherwood Park
Me and 3 other girl friends decided to go to Vancouver for the July 1st long weekend. None of us have been to Vancouver before and randomly decided to stay at this hotel because of its close walk to BC place where we had concert tickets for one night.Positives:-location was amazing!! we took the Canadian line from the airport to waterfront station where we only had to walk 2 blocks to our hotel. This hotel was close to the train station, shopping (Grandville & Robision), restaurants, bars & pubs, BC place, Gas town, pacific place mall, convenience stores and much other places. We walked everywhere, and it was very easy to get to the places we wanted to go-Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is small, quaint and clean.-Continental breakfast was good. They had a variety of cereals, breads, drinks and some eggs.Negatives:-the rooms were very small. We had a room with 2 'queen' beds in them but they felt more like doubles if that. The beds were short too, I am 5'2 and my feet hung off the ends of the bed. These rooms are big enough for 2 people maybe including luggage and space to walk and sit, but four people was too much.our biggest problem was that we had multiple noise complaints all occurring before 9 pm. The walls were paper thin, and we couldn't talk or listen to quiet music with out getting told to 'keep it down'The guests that occupy this hotel are all families or senior citizens and we were out of our element being 23 year old girls! If we would have known that this was a quiet, low key, non-active hotel, where almost every one is occupying their rooms by 7 pm on a weekend night we might have chosen to stay somewhere else.overall the hotel was good except for the fact that we couldn't use our hotel room how we desired because of the other guest in the hotel.
