“Cruising”

Stayed here before a cruise. The room was clean and comfortable. I did have a problem that the soda machine had absolutely nothing in stock to drink. I was very thirsty after a long flight. The breakfast that morning was pretty good. When we went to checkout, I was disappointed to learn that the shuttle only goes to the airport every hour. First that was not mentioned earlier and most shuttles run at least ever 1/2 hour in the morning (I worked in an airport hotel for 3yrs). When another group came asking to go to the train stations, they were told they could be taken right away. And since the driver was now going to the train station, he could take us to the airport. The desk clerk then let us know we could load our luggage onto the van since the bakck door to the van was open. Once again from experience, that is the van drivers job. I would highly recommend working on the shuttle service rules. Not many people will tip when they have had to load and unload their own luggage.
