“Disabled rating and honest opinions”

We paid for and thought we had booked a disabled room. The shower / bath was not accessible and the beds were too high. I had to lift my brother physically into bed and the shower every day resulting in a very painful back. When I asked for advise from the reception they were extrememly rude and did not seem to have the time for my complaint. We were offered another room which had a roll in shower but the turning circle for the toilet was too small and so again I would have had to lift him on and off the toilet every day. This was their only other "disabled" room.Also my brother had an accident one night, I cleaned this up as much as I could with no cleaning products or cleaning clothes, it took them two days to clean this up properly. Kitchen staff in the morning did not speak much, if any English. I asked three times one morning for a cloth to clean a table in the dinning room and I was ignored by the same woman each time. I asked her if she understood me and she said yes, but still did not bring the cloth. Also each morning I had to clear the table of rubbish so that I could get a table. Cleaning tables and clearing rubbish was not my job on holiday, but they would not do this. Too busy standing in the back room talking! The guest services who were there to support to book trip tickets had no information and knew little about disabled access and services anywhere. There were three people working in guest services, one spoke no English and one spoke in broken English. I was in America!!!!!!!Air con was noisey throughout the night!
