“Bangkok visit”

We were surprised and quite disappointed about the general attitude of the staff at this hotel. This was our first and definitely will be our last visit. Rooms were not as clean as they should be. oldfashioned TV:s, too few towels etc. As we enjoy sunbathing the pool area was the biggest disappointment! The sun does not shine on the pool area at all - just on a few spots in the afternoon. However, ther is a large terrace above the pool that bathes in sun throughout the day. BUT sun beds are not available for the guests on the terrace!!! The pool staff told us that management had forbidden sun beds to be carried up to the terrace! Why? Many other guests as well as ourselves tried their best to convince the staff to carry or allow guests themselves to carry sun beds up to the terrace. One of the staff members was somewhat customer oriented and allowed a few to be carried. I suggest the Management look into this and listen to the customers as we clearly were not the only upset ones. Also the staff in the breakfast dining room were unattentive and unfriendly. Only the person at the door smiled. The fruit plates were empty most of the time and the staff did not respond to our requests. Coffe cups were not filled up. Plates were not cleared away. Upon checking out all our room charges were wrong!!! The restaurant checks had all veen charged incorrectly. It took more than half an hour to get the charges correct even though we tried help out by pointing out the mistakes. Unbelievable. We have stayed at several hotels in Bangkok and I am sorry to say this was by far the worst customer service we have encountered. There is definitely something lacking in the attitude and motivation of your staff.
