“Decent for the price”

- It is a partially renovated old property of a recognizable upper scale motel chain. The lobby was well maintained and seasonally decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful but perhaps short handed. The conference facilities do not appear to be in use. It was nice to be able to park at the motel room door and also to have an inside door to a hall to walk to the lobby, ice machine, etc. The bed, fridge, and microwave were all comfortable. It is close to the interstate and across the street from the only supermarket in town. It is also by the railroad tracks and the train could be heard, but the traffic was not excessive. Breakfast was average with scrambled eggs, whole fruit, pastries, cold cereal, and self serve waffles. The waffle batter was better than normal. The wireless internet was down the first night but back up the second and was easy to access.
