“Gaslamp Great Area to Explore”

  , Oakville
The location of this hotel was just fantastic. Loads of shops and restaurants to explore. It's a shame the staff didn't have maps and highlights of the area. Find out how to get to Horton Plaza and Trolley spot there is very helpful. The room was the smallest room I have ever stayed in and bathroom needed a total gut but for $100 a night it was okay. There was absolutely no place to put toiletries (under the sink - ugh). Poor natural light in the room since the windows are small, painted over to some extent and have chicken wire. The window air conditioner is the equivalent to having a window open 24/7 for noise. There is no barrier to the noise between rooms either. The two pieces of gym equipment crammed into a closet space on the 8th floor was like a bad joke, however, the facility at Merill Lynch a few blocks away was fabulous. Overall quaint place but not big enough for two people to share a standard queen room (3 drawers in a desk, small hanger space, fold out stand for suitcase). I stayed only two nights and felt like I was in chaos having to put everything away constantly due to very tight quarters and no storage. Great TV channels! 24 Hour Restaurant a plus but sadly not veg friendly.
