“Not pleased”

I reserved two rooms and one I requested to have downstairs due to my parents, especially my father, has trouble walking. He has knee and ankle problems. As we arrived both rooms were upstairs and when I has said that I had requested downstairs the front desk person stated she has no control over it. They were booked. I asked why there is a placed for special requests on the resoirvation form if they don't bother to look at it. She just kinda shrugged her shoulders. We had to have the room for soccer tournament so we took them both upstairs. When I got upstairs I had to call and asked for location of the ice machine. I was told it is downstairs by the office. This was a bad experience for my father who ended up injurying himself upon our departure and leaving the hotel. The location I believe was in a bad area of town, but that is nothing to do with the hotel, I am just upset about the reservation request for a downstairs room and got an upstairs room. The cable had bad reception also.
