“Our Stay at the Ramada in Gatineau, Que”

  , Vernon
Was not impresssed with this hotel. Was not given the WIFI code upon check in. They have only 1 elevator by the front desk that is hardly big enough to change your mind in, never mind getting people and baggage in and out at check out time. However, it is very close to the Casino and other places of interest. It is better if you speak or understand French. Most of the staff are bilingual, but not all, especially the housekeeping staff, but there are a few that are bilingual. We were there for a family wedding, and while we were mostly on the same floor, we were not put close together.I would not choose to stay at this particular Ramada again. We were there because it was the hotel of choice for the bridal party.Thankfully, I have stayed at other Ramada Inns and know that Ramada is usually a great place to stay. There is no free breakfast, but the restaurant has a buffet for $13, not the best one I've been to: scrambles eggs, sausage, potatoes, fruit, cereal, some pasteries, toast (took a long time to get as it had to be put through twice). Most of these things are included in a free breakfast at other hotels.
