The lobby is new and adequate.Room was great newly renovated and clean. The ajoing Smitty's restaurant was great. We had a good stay. The interior was newly renovated.Reasonably good value for money.I am going to go back again. However the car park area was in a generally poor state, and inadequate.and although the bar counter itself was respecful enough the bar lounge resembled a works canteen, with table and chairs looking more like a school hall than a bar lounge. There was no service for 10 mins, I walked out,it was not somewhere I wanted to sit with my wife on our anniversary weekend. The outside swimming pool area is still closed off for renovations and looks pretty bad and dangerous to go near.I would not take young kids here, the travel lodge 1 km south, has a working pool and safer environment for the same price, except their rooms are 'grubby',and needs renovating inside.
