“Dont waste your money”

My husband and I travel a lot for work and often times bring our family along with us. We stay at Ramada Inn quite often because were very satisfied with the value in the staff this hotel, however is an exception to that rule. When we first checked in and asked if they had a pack and play for our infant, which normally the ramadas we have stayed at in the past have provided. The clerk at the counter said that the hotel had been foreclosed on and the manager had sold off everything that wasn't nailed down. That's a direct quote. We got into the hotel room it was definately a shock, it was FILTHY and freezing cold ( it was an out door room and there was no heat on)... We went immidiately went down stairs and asked to be moved to a different room, the lady at the desk told us that if we didnt like it we could leave! Can you believe that? It was 11:00 at night, we had three very small tired children with us and we had been traveling for 8 hours on the road. We ended up staying the night but checking out earlier then planned ( we had origionaly booked for three nights but needless to say we wernt interested in staying longer then we had to). We are still waiting for our refund (its been 3 days now) and though we subitted a formal complaint we have not heard back from anybody yet. Please DO NOT make your family suffer as mine did, save you money for a company who actually cares about customer service and satisfaction. I know that we will NEVER spend our hard earned money on this company again.
