“Mice in the room”

  , Benton
ROOM CLEANLINESS - To be fair the manager comp'd the room at half day but if I had not already been sleeping with a bad headache my wife and I probably would have changed rooms. PARKING - The website says you may be charged for parking - but I think since we booked with a website they figured they could get some money back by charging for parking - I did not see the parking passes in all vehicles.BREAKFAST - looked like they had waffle maker but must have been broken/out. First day had a rock hard biscuit(threw away) and mediocre gravy with no eggs or sausage. Decent normal stuff for breakfast with nothing standing out - except the lady who works down there setting up everything and doing a good job with what she has to offer - and even more so with her people skills working for the guests and chain.LOCATION - you are right outside the stadium for football games but make no mistake this is a jungle for your GPS that doesn't give good directions when there is traffic, routing on busy highways and sometimes off highway when both are slammed. But, you can walk across the river to 1/2nd and Broadway where everything thing is within 4 blocks. PARKING IS EXPENSIVE, IF YOU TRY TO DRIVE OVER TO DOWNTOWN TAKE MANY QUARTERS OR BE PREPARED TO PAY 8.00 AND HOUR AT LOTS OR 10-13 DOLLARS A DAY AT GARAGES.OVERALL - If you need to go to a football game, don't eat hotel breakfasts, want to walk to downtown and not pay for parking, don't need a more than middle of the road place to stay - then this place may be for you. You can stay farther away for much better, and plan a day downtown and pay to park all day. The mouse may have been a fluke but when you have sticky traps out for two days - its best t be gone all day like we were. I would have comp'd the guest more than a half day.
