“Cencelled Reservation”

Traveled a great distance to come to Nashville for the weekend only to be told once I got to the hotel that my reservation had been cancelled and the hotel was fully booked. No call, no email, no notification, just cancelled by the GM. The front desk clerk said this happens all the time by the GM and there was nothing he could do about it. Sent to me their "partner" hotel to stay for the night. Didn't pay cab fare, didn't offer any assistance or remorse or explanation. Told me I could come back the next night and get the actual room that I had reserved. The worst part was that I had the rest of my family staying at the hotel and later that night they heard the front desk clerk say that they had rooms available. When I returned the next day, all they could say about making me move when open rooms were available was, "don't take it personal". I am beyond disappointed with this property and this chain. Last time I will ever be staying at a Ramada. Throughout the weekend I found out that the same thing happened to several others as well. The GM of this hotel needs to be removed asap.
