“Good value for money if you are not too fussy”

  , New Hartford
First of all, the staff are well mannered, efficient and cordial. The complementary breakfast is really good but the pantry needs a couple of good microwaves; patrons queue up in the morning rush hours to warm the frozen french toasts and pancakes. The rooms are old and need repairs of the few cracks on the walls and roof and fresh paints. Carpets need good cleaning and in-room fridge are really bad. The bathroom shower heads are good with running hot water for a refreshing bath. Stayed in three King-size rooms during my visits to the Jersey City, one of them was King-bed suite; the sofa was really cheap in that room and I didn't like to sit on that in the fear that it might give me rashes. The cable TV channels are limited and the transmission is of poor quality, with hazy, faded and flickering images. However, this hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Journal Square with a park-and-lock facility along with the NJ Path and Bus stations within 5 mins walking distance.
