“Fire and Rehire!”

  , Chico, California, Usa
Considering how nice the facilities are, I was displeased (not) to be greeted by the front desk clerk (with a tattoo above her thumb) who was more interested in accommodating her boyfriend standing at the counter. Over the course of our 10 days stay, she was not only rude & unhelpful about our questions, but she'd make eye-contact without a smile or "hello". Of course, she was only courteous when the manager was present! The other front desk guy actually said hello--but as he was smoking out front! Also, the large lady who served Sunday breakfast-- I wasn't sure whether she was working since she was busy flirting with a man at the bar. When I asked for salt & pepper (which were usually out on the tables), she didn't say a word as she put out a set and continued conversing with the man... I am NOT against tattoos, smoking, or flirting, but Ramada: you need to hire people who will actually do their job!
