“convenient but not great”

The hotel was convenient to our travel plans and was clean. The check in and out process was professional and courteous. 1st problem- The room when we entered had the heater blasting (95 degrees) and the a/c did not work. We had difficulty opening the window and when we finally got it open were thankful it was cool enough outside to bring the temp. down. Breakfast is what you can expect from a 'Freebie" but it was nice to have if needed. Put the do not disturb sign on the door to take a shower. Took it off before I left for the day and was surprised upon returning late in the afternoon that the room had not been cleaned. When I checked with the manager I was informed that the cleaning crew comes by once- if they are unable to enter the room at that time they do not come back by that day. This would have been nice to know when we checked in
