“Very roomy”

My nieces and I had stayed in two previous hotels. We had to move to a larger hotel to accommodate their mom, who came to join us. I'm so glad I found this hotel because it was probably the roomiest hotel room we had stayed in by a long shot. By that time, my nieces and I had already stayed in 4 hotels in Japan and 2 in Seoul. I swear 3 people could stand shoulder to shoulder from the edge of the bed to the table/drawer lining one wall. The bathroom was very large as well. The two king beds were comfortable as were the pillows. The room already had an adapter for our chargers, so we didn't have to "rent" from the front desk. There's a spa/facial in the basement of the hotel which I took advantage of. I was able to get 30% off my facial for staying in the hotel. It was wonderful and relaxing. The lady who did my facial also massaged my shoulders and totally worked out the big knot on my right shoulder. It hurt so good. The location was pretty convenient as it was quite close to several of the entrances to the Jongno-5 exit. The closest to us was, I believe exit 12 or 13. They lead to an underground shopping which eventually lead to the actual Jongno-5 entrance. It was still a walk, but at least we were underground as opposed to walking in the heat and humidity of July/August in Seoul. I think the hotel is still pretty new because our taxi drivers had a hard time finding it despite the card provided by the hotel with the address written in Korean. That was quite frustrating. Thank goodness for my portable wifi. I could monitor our route using google map. The area itself had a lot of local eateries and cafés. There were a lot of traditional stores that sold hanbok dresses and traditional markets. Not exactly a trendy area compared to the previous hotel we stayed at in Myeongdong. But it's good area for families to stay at and we saw quite a few people that appeared to be on a business trip. There's a 7-11 conveniently located a few meters away and the Starbucks which was very close to the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel had breakfast buffet (which we didn't try) and a lunch buffet. The lunch buffet was quite good, but a little pricey. The dinner was definitely pricey and they got my order wrong. Instead of telling me they didn't have the ingredients for what I ordered they just gave me a substitute. So, I was a bit disappointed about that. Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel for the space and comfort they provide.
