“Don't Stay Here Till They Renovate It...”

  , Shorewood
This was the worst experience at a Ramada that I have ever had. To start, the parking is horrible. The elevators, if you're the least bit slow, will slam the door on your hand - I pity anyone who's handicapped trying to get into one. I had hair in my breakfast the first day, and after braving another try at breakfast? It was cold. The room windows open, thank goodness, because the rooms our group had were either freezing or roasting. But there are no screens on the windows, which you'd kind of think was a safety hazard? My room wasn't vacuumed well enough (bug on floor) and by the time I noticed it, it was time (thankfully) to check out. The bedding smelled musty. The doorstop on the bathroom door was missing a rubber tip and had scraped the tub horribly. Only 2 servers and one bartender on when you had at least TWO conferences? Really? Who thought THAT was a good idea? Meeting rooms were horribly stuffy and cramped. Tables of 8 that are forced to be tables of 10 are usually not comfortable OR convenient to service. One good thing? A nice showerhead...At least that was something. I would NOT recommend anyone staying here til the Ramada chain redeems itself by doing a total overhaul of this place.
