“You get what you pay for”

  , Winnipeg
We stayed at the Ramada Rapid City from Aug 18-20. The hotel is decent for the price you pay. The rooms are clean however there is no fridge. The beds are a little hard but none the less the room was appropriate for the rate you pay to stay. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that many of the rooms only have access from outside, there are a rooms available facing the pool/common area. If you want to go to the pool or breakfast you have to walk outside of the hotel to get into this area. Not bad if the weather is warm however I could see this as a nuisance in the winter months. The continental breakfast was great. It was pretty busy when we were there but the hostess's always found us a table and cleared the table quickly once you were done with your plate. Food was always plentiful as well. The staff works hard so if you can bring a buck or so to leave in the tip jar at the front. The pool was very big however it was SUPER cold. You really only saw a few brave children in the pool however talking with other guest including other children and they all agreed it was too cold to swim in. The whirlpool was much better however it also seemed cooler than most.Overall I was satisfied with our stay and would stay here again if ever in the area and on a budget.
