“Wedding for collegue”

Several things about the hotel were disappointing. First, we booked our room in April for the October wedding. When we arrived at the desk they had our reservations, but tried to charge $25 more. When I complained they made a correction. He said he could reduce the price because we were included in the wedding block. They never offered us the snack pack the the bride purchased for all guests. When we arrived in our room for (3 women) we found a king size bed. We had two queen beds on our reservations. The desk said that they were booked and unable to help. A friend called to talk to the manager and they said they would compensate us by taking $20 off the cost of the room. We were awake at 8:45 by the housekeeping knocking on doors as they came down the hallway at each room calling out housekeeping, We were surprised that this hotel did not have an elevator to the second floor. The walls were marked and wallpaper was beginning to come off the wall in a friends room. Hotel needs updating.
