“horrible experience”

The lobby smelt like pure lysol. The first room we were given had pieces of ceiling flakeing off. The next room had a pillow missing, candy wrappers in the floor, dead bugs in the windows and the heater smelt awful. We were booked for 2 nights but only stayed one after everyone started feeling bad after inhaling the odor coming from the heater. It was either freeze or smell that odor. The front cover of the heater was missing and the unit looked like it was about 40 years old! The carpet had stains and the walls looked like they had not been painted in years - marks all over them. My nephew set aside a block of rooms at this hotel for his wedding. Our entire family stayed here. What a disappointment! My brother and his family were given a room key and when they entered, the dirty bed sheets were laying on top of the bed. So, they got another room. This room had no comforter on either bed. They had tiles missing in the bathroom. Same issue with the heater. Their heater would get really hot then shut off until they were freezing then it would get really hot. Needless to say, they got no sleep either. My nephew's grandparents got a room that had beer bottles and cans along the window sill when they opened the curtains. They got moved to another room also. This hotel was gross. The website said it was recently remodeled. Maybe the lobby was remodeled because the rooms looked like they had not been updated in many years! The majority of us have been sick since staying in this hotel. I will not be staying at another Ramada anytime soon. We stayed one night and found a Hampton Inn in Concord for the next night. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! After reviewing my credit card bill, the hotel charged me a $12.00 fee. I called the hotel and they said I took a pillow. I explained that this room was disgusting and I would not take anything from it. The pillow was missing when we checked in. Never again!
