“A lot of little things”

When I got there around 8pm, the room was freezing so I went to turn the heat up. I didn't have a desk in my 2 queen bed room, so I set up my laptop on this tiny table with no proper chair. Two hours after doing some work, it was still freezing in my room. I checked the heater again and turned the heat up to 7. I got in to bed and hoped for the best. Halfway through the night, I woke up and felt as if I had been camping - you know where the tip of your nose is freezing... it still hadn't warmed up in my room. When I woke up in the morning it was freezing. I went to turn on the lights both on the wall and corner lamp and both had burnt out light bulbs. I went to the window to see what it was like outside and noticed the window was open, no wonder it didn't warm up in my room! What kind of hotel would open a window and leave it open in -20 celcius weather? In the dead of winter? I never even thought to check if the window was open because this is completely absurd to me that it would be open! I was upset when I went to check out and explained to the clerk what had happened. She didn't even apologize about it but wrote down for the cleaners to change the light bulbs. Then, while processing my payment, told me to hang on so she could answer the phone and didn't tell them to hold but booked their reservation for them while I was waiting to leave. Poor customer service. I received nothing in return for my crappy stay.
