I called before I arrived to make sure you had a working computer so I would not have to carry my laptop. I was assured it was there and working. Of course, upon arriving I found out it was not working and had been out of service for 3 days prior to my arrival and it took another 3 days for it to be fixed. Every day they kept telling me the night person was going to take care of it. Finally, after myself and others complained it did get fixed. Most hotels have at least 2 so if a problem occurs with one they always have an alternative. The other complaint I had was regarding the loss of electricity. I understand this can happen anywhere however, you usually have an MOD or someone of authority to available. The young man working the desk was unaware of the best way to handle this other than to tell us we could move to another hotel. When asked for suggestions or would he call other hotels for availability. He said we would have to do it ourselves. When you aren't familiar with the area that is hard to do. I asked if the MOD (guess you don't have one) or the General Manager was aware of the situation and did she have any suggestions. He said it was Sunday and she did not work that day. Fortunately the electricity came back on several hours later.Realizing this is a small town and the people working the registration desk are trying to be helpful (and by the way very pleasant) perhaps a little more training might be beneficial. The registration staff are very friendly and seem to want to help but may be a little inexperienced.One other thing. My room had not been cleaned for two days. I finally found someone in the lobby on Monday. She apologized and did come in and clean it right away. Perhaps they don't clean the rooms on the weekend. I stayed there last year also and seemed to have much better service.
