“Ramada Stay”; Nov 11, 2012 E G, Toronto; Hotel is dated - in need of redecorating. Bed, TV and desk chair good quality. Carpets dirty.Unhappy that the on-line rate was not honoured.

Dear EG,I always appreciate when we receive reviews from our guests. I must say that I am puzzled by your review however. The furnishings in our hotel are brand new including new carpet, new wall covering, new bedding (mattresses, new comforters and duvets & new pillows). Our bathrooms have new tiling, updated Moen shower heads, and granite top sinks, and these upgrades are consistent in all of our guest rooms. We also just remodeled our lobby and restaurant. Upon researching your reservation I found that you had intended to reserve an online reservation. These types of reservations must be purchased in advance and guaranteed with a valid credit card to receive the discounted rate. Since this reservation was not guaranteed, we were not able to honor the online rate. I see that our front desk staff did offer a discounted rate upon check in as a courtesy however. I am sorry for any confusion and I hope that I was able to better explain the policy with online reservations. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention. « hide
