“Review of the Ramada”

The Ramada Hotel itself was fine; clean, warm, convenienty located.The restaurant on premises, however, needs some serious staff training.The staff is polite, but totally disorganized. The service was slow, almost non-existent, and inefficient. The Sunday buffet eggs were cold, the pancakes as hard as a rock, etc. The toaster was not working properly, and when I reported that problem, I was told that the toaster hadn't been working correctly since it had been purchased a year and a half ago. There was no alternate way to toast one's choice of bread. When a meal was ordered from the menu, the food was tasty, but service still slow. Staff tried to help, but we had to request most things at least 2-3 times. When we still did not get what we needed, we just got those itms for ourselves (ketchup, jam, coffee, etc.). As a former waitress and the head of staff of a cafeteria, this lack of service is totally unacceptable, and it is usually the result of poor training of wait staff by the personnel in charge.
