“I booked a room for my family of 4 and received a room with...”

I booked a room for my family of 4 and received a room with a king bed and twin pull out. Though I was annoyed, we didn't make it an issue since we were only staying one night. There wasn't a comforter or blanket on the bed and the piece of decorative material they had placed on the bed had what appeared to be a dried food stain on it. When we were getting ready for bed, I finally pulled out the twin "sofa" bed but there were no sheets on it (nor could we find them in the room) and the mattress had a huge brown stain on it which would have been blatantly obvious to anyone cleaning the room. It was too late to change rooms at this point because my kids were already asleep on the bed, so we decided to wait until the morning to notify the staff. When notifying the front desk, we were told that the mattress would be replaced....that's all. Though the front desk staff was very friendly, there was no apologies or offer to compensate for the experience.
