“Very Disappointed”

My stay at Ramada Inn in Canton Ohio was terrible!!The room had bugs! They crawled out from under the cabinets and ran to a open wall space - pocket doors. I requested a refund and was denied. The clerk told theey have had this before andthat in his experience, it is not there policy to issue refunds. He also stated that you'll find bugs at all the hotels in Canton. He offered to move me to another room which was unacceptable to me as I no longer wanted to stay at this hotel. He then offered me a discount which again was unacceptable. He claimed I used the room for a period of time - not my faultthe bugs waited 4 hrs to show themselves! He then told me I'd have to talk to a manager the next day. The owner called in 2 times and would not authorize a refund! I called the manager the next day, she was not available. I left a msg on her answering machine and still have not recieved a call back, nor has any cresit been issed to my credit card.I am a business owner, was there on business. Never would a client be treated like that in my business. Plus, as owner, I can authorize refunds. Obvisously this owner has no intention of refunding my money as he only supported the above options given to me by the clerk. Never will I stay at a Ramada Inn again! Never will I give a good recommondation either!Although I did not file a complaint - the following was also poor: the couch in the room was ratted and soiled - I would not sit on it. There was an odor - I had to open the window for a while to clear it out. The carpet hd staines. The bathroom was incredibly tiny - you couldn't even get in the shower without closing the door. Had I not had a lot of work to do, plus being exhausted, I would have left on those issues. The bugs were just too much!
