Having stayed at your hotel several years in a row for timbit wrap up parties we were always excited to go and stay, this year was no different. Not being able to avail of the ballroom, which was understandable given the proximity to Christmas as the many company functions going on. Having said that the alternate of the breakfast area unfortunately wasn;t doable neither due to the other teams and numbers already using it, so the flex room was definitely better than nothing...but also hard to house and occupy 18 players their siblings and their parents. The pool was a hit, but many children ours included were coughing up a storm and many children complained about sore eyes and the chlorine smell - I get the need to ensure that all the germs little ones bring with them need to be taken care of, but not at the expense of the chemicals being so strong that they are iritating to eyes and airways.Of the four previous times we've styaed with you in Canmore we've never been trainside in the hotel, and truthfully I will never stay there again, if that's all that would be available...quite disruptive to the kids and our sleep...We always believe in recylcing towels, etc... and weren't sure if your housekeping staff was also doing that - either they took the time to refold our towels that were hanging and place them back in the pile on the shelf, or they simply replaced the ones that we had hanging and were quite willing to re-use...either way just leave the towels hanging and you can save time and energy - why have that as an option if your housekeeping staff isn;t observing it as well. The breakfasts, the coffee and tea, and the more than friendly and helpful staff more than make up for any inconveniences we experienced, and won't deter us from staying elsewhere at the Ramada family of hotels...all in all it was still a positive weekend, the kids had fun, although we were all rather tired secondary to the trains waking us up...
