“Cleaniness is NOT at the top of the list at this hotel”

  , Morson
We had booked a couple of overnights to coincide with flying out of Grand Forks to Vegas. While the airport shuttle and car parking is Definitley a plus, but, I will NEVER stay at this hotel again, even with the parking and shuttle. When we checked into our room, I opened the curtains and the whole inside windows was covered in big greast smears. Looking around we noticed a few other things that showed lack of concern in the cleaning department. The trays holding the glasses had dirt smears on them. The glasses were so cloudy and streaky from water stains they should have be disposed of years ago. When I went to wash my hands, I had to clean off the counter Before I washed. There was soap and soap scum left over from the Previous people that had stayed there. I had to actually scrub to gett it clean. The next morning, the coffee maker and pot was not much of a better sight. There was coffee all over the maker and the pot had barely been rinsed out. When I had checked out in the morning I told the girl at the front desk about the state of cleanliness, she did not seem ot be too concerned about this. I had to get to the airport so I didn't have time to hash this one out. The overnight stay on out return was a bit better....one of the glasses was covered in this crusty residue, but the rest was not too bad. Coffee maker was only slightly dirty this time around. When I checked out this time, I decided to talk to the Manager about the cleaniness of the hotel he DID NOT even have the decency to come to the front desk. Instead he opted to discuss the matter over the phone. (The girl at the front desk said he was just there and went to get him-she came back with a phone instead) He was rude and very cocky the whole time we talked on the phone. There seemed to be no concern about how dirty everything was, just whether the beds were ok...huh??? Isn't it ALL supposed to be clean? It is very clear why this hotel is the way it is.
