“Nice Room, Friendly Staff - Not a great place for Children”; Jan 03, 2013 Shauna S, Dickinson; Thank you very much for the nice room we recieved in a drawing while eating lunch at the Ramada in Dickinson. We had great service and I was excited to use it for New Years Eve. Check in was great. We decided to meet friends for a drink in the lounge before supper. We could not even talk to each other. It was so loud and the music was very obnoxious. I then took our kids to the pool. The room we had was a suite so we had to walk by the lounge to and from the pool. On the way back from the pool the boys got more than an eye full of 3 adult men and a women barely dressed making sexual motions to each other. It was not appropriate behavior. I really think you need to take a good look at your choice of clients for your lounge. It was not appopriate for young children or anyone to have an experience like that in such a nice place. We did ask that the music be turned down just enough to have a conversation but we were told it was a new sound system and they had to try it out. It also took about 2 hours for room service but I could understand because of New Year's Eve business.

Hi Shauna,Let me first start of by thanking you for leaving us with a review on Tripadvisor and for speaking so highly of our staff and facility; however, I am very sorry of the experience you had during your stay in reference guest not acting appropriate in the pool area. Please do know that is not the norm of our hotel and that we that this type of actions is unacceptable in our hotel. I would also like to apologize for the delay in room service as well as the music being played to loud in the lounge.Once again, thank you for speaking so highly of our lounge and for choosing the Ramada as your hotel of choice. « hide
