“Poor Management”

Stayed for 3 nights:Pros: Nice bed cover and pillows; waffles provided for continental breakfast was good.Cons: Run down which only management can be blamed. (ie - caulking around water fixtures was black from mold; household fire alarm in room that beeped and needed maintenance to replace batteries - why aren't they being replaced on a routine basis?!!!!; everyday we had to have our key card reprogramed for our room. It's like they just turned off every key card everyday - very frustrating getting to your room then having to go back downstairs. 2 flights of stairs & no elevator; had to try for 15 minutes to get someone at front desk to answer phone (in order to complain about fire alarm beeping). Halls smelled like old moldy closets. I could go on but that was the major reasons I gave it only a 1 star.
