“Great Room ....Horrible Service”

We have stayed in the past and had loved the stay. The room was great and the evening clerk was great.My family and I had spent the day in the mountains and wanted to spend the night in this hotel. Well, I walked in and requested a room with a hot tub. The room was open and the charge was about $ 102 plus another $ 10 for a roll-a-way bed. I asked for the military discount and was told there was none. I asked why I was being charged a $ 10 fee for the bed as I didnt remember paying for it on my last visit. He said they always charge for the bed.I walked out and called the Ramada Reservation Line and was able to get the military discount for the room which brought it down to about $ 88. I was informed that the rate included the roll-a-way bed too. We walked back in and checked in for the evening. I told the evening clerk about my conversation with the Ramada Reservation Line and that I had been told the bed was included. He confirmed the bed plus the military rate was in the computer. We went to our room and noticed we had left out phone charger. The clerk had one behind the desk that he gave us. The following morning we checked out and an elderly female was behind the desk checking us out. I noticed the roll-a-way was on our bill so I advised her of my conversation with the Reservation Line. She told me that the hotel was independent and that the Reservation line didnt speak for them. I advised her that I didnt remember paying in the past and that I was upset with being told that I wouldnt be charged for it. She told me that either I was lying or that I had been lied too. She also said," You are already getting a great rate so I dont see what the problem is", all with a major attitude. I explained that I was given the military rate since I am in the Army. She said," I can see that ", with a bigger attitude. After about 10 minutes trying to talk with her, she finally said, " I will take it off this time but never again", once again with a major attitude. Maybe she didnt want to be there that morning but regardless, you dont treat customers that way. This all occured in front of my wife, my 7 year old and another couple waiting to check out.
