“Nice room but minor issues”

Room #121. The hotel was newly remodeled and our room was nice and clean for an older hotel. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable and the room temperature could not stay consistent. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep. The shower water temperature fluctuated between very hot and very cold without warning. NOT a good thing!! Staff was very friendly and helpful and provided very good customer service. We left an item behind in the room and later called to see if they could locate it, which they did promptly, and held it for us to pick up. The outside entrance door was NOT locked and secured to use with a key card lending way for anyone to enter at any time. A breakfast buffet was included and the food was very good but we had to hunt down someone to serve the coffee. Service and location are excellent but the facility falls short of the rate they charge for that area and you're basically paying for the name. Although they have done a lot of improvements to the hotel I am not impressed enough to return.
