“front desks nightmare/bathroom needs to be updated”

We did surf a little before we went to Watertown, of course we wanted to have some idea where the famous Boldt castle was from the hotel, which is the main tourist attraction in the area, I think it doesn't make sense to put staff (specially on a busy Friday night) who doesn't know how to get to this main tourist attraction. What made it worse was the front desk lied about it, told us to go 81 south and when I asked if we can get there by car, he said yes. The whole truth is that, you have to go 81 North and you have to take a shuttle boat, you can't drive to it, map quest or google doesn't tell you that and you'd have to rely on the local people for these details. Secondly, the credit card wouldn't go thru and this same guy told us that his screen is showing that the card is expired which, if you actually look at the card, it's not expired. He insisted we give him another card even though the hotel was already pre paid two months prior. After 8 hours of driving, I had no energy to argue, I just want to rest. On check out, I requested a receipt and the girl staff said she couldn't print out a receipt because I booked it from a different site other than ramada, i actually booked it from ramada website even if it cost us more, because we wanted the option to be able to cancel if one of us gets too sick to travel. upon insistence she did print out a receipt and admitted that we did book it from the ramada website. These young people are so full of lies. They are too lazy to be bothered with anything that will go wrong and would always opt for what's less work for them. It's ok if you have to keep me waiting while you check or ask somebody, but to lie? The cleaning staff did their best to keep the room clean, except for the dusty coffee maker. But the bathroom needs to be updated to get rid of the broken pieces of grout between tiles that are starting to fill up with molds. The bathroom seat was stained with a black splatter, it wasn't what I thought it was, but still, I don't think toilet seats are that expensive. The rim of the toilet too is stained with black cirle line, which I think is from being old and needing a replacement as opposed to not having been cleaned. If you need a dolley, there's nothing around, you'd have to request it and leave your car to get it. Was one of the worse hotel we've stayed at, not the worst but it's up there.
