“This particular hotel and rooms could use renovation. It...”

This particular hotel and rooms could use renovation. It does appear that the bathrooms were upgraded but that was about it. The beds were extremely unconfortable, too small and the heat could not regulate, it was too hot or too cold. When we checked in at 11pm the heat was off in the room and it was freezing in our room. We were ready for bed and had to wait almost 30 minutes for the room to warm up. The front desk worker was very personable and accomodating and he was the best part of the Ramada experience.. The kids said the pool was cold and pool area smelt moldy and I saw 2 roaches on the window area where the window moldings appeared to be removing from the dampness. Though I did not use the restuarant facility myself, the softball team we were travelling with did. They said the waitress was extremely overwhelmed and was not prepared for them at 6am prior to our tournament. We were told that special arrangements were being made for our group and they could not even order anything. they were given JUST PANCAKES AND OJ...that was it! As a travel agent, I am overall disappointed in this hotel.
