I made reservations sometime late May / Early June to stay at your hotel over the past weekend (August 23rd and August 24th). We attended a weeding close by and this was the hotel of choice by the Bride. I can tell you I was very dissatisfied. I had initally made reservations for the Homewood Suites, at the airport, because I like the Hilton "product". During my initial phone contact, with your staff, I requested a suite, that was after I checked online and showed that a suite was available. Your staff memeber told me that there was not a suite available. I made the reservation anyway, because I had the ability to cancel. I called your hotel 2 weeks prior to my arrival (around August 7th), again after checking online to check availability of a suite, there was one available so I called and added on another night. So now our stay would be from August 22nd to August 25th. There was a special rate of $99/night. for the wedding group. I explained to the person I spoke with that I was with the wedding group and would pay an small additional amount for the suite and they told me that this would not be necessary and I could use the same rate and confirmation number. At that point, I was happy and cancelled my reservation at the Homewood Suites, MISTAKE. When we arrived on Thursday night, I was told the rate would be $119 for Thursday and $159 for Friday and Saturday. nights. What could I do, I already cancelled my other reservations so now I was stuck. I didn't save anything because your hotel doesn't offer breakfast like the Homewood Suites.So overall, I paid the same amount for a sub-standard hotel of which I will never stay again. There were many times that we walked past the front desk and the person behind the desk NEVER said a word. Customer service in the hotel business is very important and I base my stay at ANY hotel by customer service. The cleaning of the room was also substandard because glasses were never replaced after being used, nor were dirty glasses removed from the sink.I will be letting the Corporate office know about the issues that took place over the past weekend. I also find it unacceptable that your General Manager, Jimmy Gandhi, cannot be contacted via email because his email is not printed on his business card.
