“Worth it, Would stay again”

Reading the reviews, I was a bit worried about how this hotel would be. When I booked the room, I requested a room on the top floor and facing the city, so that we could get a good night picture of manhattan all lit up. We got exactly that. Wonderful view. When we arrived, the staff was very helpful when we inquired about parking, prior to even checking in. Check-in was quick and easy, and on we went to our room. The room was clean and up to date. There was a single lady bug in our room, but we just took that as a bit of good luck and left her alone. We went perfect timing for Hurricane Sandy to hit, so when we woke up the next morning, after check-out, we called the front desk to see if they would charge us for the room if we left right then. They were understanding and did not charge us for the room. The only downfall is the lack of parking in front of the hotel, and no parking lot. But street parking is easy to find, and the subway is just a short walk away. All-in-all, this was a great stay, great hotel experience, great value, and when we return, we will most likely be booking Ramada Long Island City.
