“We were in town for a wedding and had three rooms for five...”

We were in town for a wedding and had three rooms for five people. When we arrived, they did not have the types of rooms we reserved. I thought that was the point of reservations. As a concession, they said we could have free breakfast boht mornings we would be there. The next morning they said they had no record of the free breakfasts and after much discussion, they said we could have one morning of free breakfasts. The breakfast was terrible. I am very happy we did not have to pay $10 each for it. More disturbing was the fact that one of our rooms was soaking wet and smelled of mold. The following day, they said they would give us a new room for that room and we should pack up our stuff and security would move us to a new room. When we returned to the hotel very late that night, they had not given us a new room or moved our luggage. We had to wait while they found a new room and we had to move our own luggage. That night, we asked for the first night to be free since the room was a disaster - wet carpet and obvious mold. They refused but said they would take some portion of the first night off of the bill. When we checked out, I again complained about the one room on the first night and asked for it to be taken off of the bill completely. They agreed. Everyone with whom we spoke at the hotel and attached bar/restaurant was very friendly. However, there were clear issues with the one room and with follow through.
