“OK room, but phone/internet problems hurt the rating”

Arrived to find a clean and comfortable room. Realized quickly that the wireless internet speed was so slow that it wouldn't support getting much work done via the laptop. Woke up the first morning and discovered that the shower would not work (would only run bath, not shower). Staff was helpful and immediately moved me to another room. In the new room, the phone did not work. The phone would call the front desk, but the front desk could not call me (no wake up call) and no communication to/from outside the hotel was possible (luckily I rely on cell phone primarily anyway). Staff technician could not fix the phone problem and they could not provide any explanation for the slow internet service.Heating/AC unit was the type that runs continuously when selected to heat or AC, so this made sleeping difficult as the unit rattled all night.Fitness room was small and the weight machine was not functional. Treadmill and exercise bike were old but functional.
