“OK for bid price of 55.00/night but no hot water”

Check in was smooth. Mattress was broken down at the foot of the bed, but did not interfere with sleep. Room was clean, but older and a bit worn out. Walls were thin and we could hear the restaurant breakfast bar noise. Biggest complaint was that there was no hot water. We only stayed a night, so did not get a shower in the am. The clerk promised his manager would call on Monday to make some kind of concession for the lack of hot water. He never called, which puts the burden on us to pursue. The clerk did offer us a free drink at the bar. I am glad we didn't pay any more for it.
