“Disappointed”

I used kayak.com to search for a hotel that had smoking rooms, free parking, complimentary breakfast and was near the airport. I was lead to the ramada and booked a room. However when we arrived we found it did not have any of things I was looking for other than being near the airport. I had also explained on the phone while booking I was having a problem with my credit card and asked if I could use only cash. She said it was fine and no card was needed, however when we arrived we were told a card was still needed for incidentals and they would require at least $200 extra cash to hold for it. I did not have that much on me so it took over an hour to work out a solution before getting into our room. The only good thing I can say is the employee began to talk to us on a personal level and after doing so helped us to come to the solution that finally got us our room. Maybe kayak just needed to be updated but regardless we were disappointed the ramada didn't have what we wanted, and annoyed it was such a hassle to get our room.
