“A disappointing stay with disappointing service”

Front desk manager was brusque when we first arrived, which in and of itself is not unforgivable. However, combined with some of the issues and their total disregard for these problems, it becomes an issue.1. The power went out at 3AM, causing everyone's alarms to not go off properly and headaches for the folks who were still awake. Worse, apparently power outages are common at this location.2. The rooms desperately need a remodeling, with decorations, furniture and equipment circa 1970's.3. Front desk staff clearly accidentally preauthorized my credit card for a higher amount than the actual bill, and the slip was handed over without any comment or clarification.4. No receipt other than the CC slip was given.5. At least the rooms were as clean as they could be given the dive motel nature of the location.6. Showers were fussy or simply not functional.7. No adjustments were offered for power or shower issues.
