“Family time”

  , Bennet
We stayed here as a part of an on-line deal that included a two night stay, waterpark passes, and pizzas. It was a Thanksgiving family getaway. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean. Hotel was under construction. There was a point where we asked if they had an area where all of our families could congregate and share pizza and hangout. They showed us to a commons area where all the surrounding rooms were being remodeled, but the commons area was finished and landscaped with a beautiful stream with bridges, comfortable chairs, tables, and plenty of space for the younger kids to run around. It was beautiful AND the perfect place to gather. The waterpark was a blast for everyone, but they had a bit of a lifeguard staffing problem. We caught one of the lifeguards on the slides spending quite a bit of time on his phone instead of doing his job. This was a huge safety issue for us considering we had two kids that spent a lot of time going down those slides. We brought it to the attention of the manager who quickly took care of the problem (word was that they sent him home). The breakfast buffet was good and the wait staff was entertaining and friendly. All-in-all, it was a great stay. Only complaints would be that the bathrooms are really small in the rooms, the room had very little soundproofing (especially when in the bathroom - you could hear conversations and bathroom activities from adjacent rooms), and the TV was very small in comparison to other hotels we've stayed.
