“Summary:Feels like a low-budget Motel 6 but at high end...”

  , Phoenix
Summary:Feels like a low-budget Motel 6 but at high end Ramada "should be a really nice hotel" prices. Location is all that this hotel has going for it. If you can put up with a VERY overpriced low end budget hotel to be within walking distance of Disney then this is your hotel. If you want a nice relaxing hotel experience look elsewhere.Expect little to nothing for breakfast and you won't be disappointed. Breakfast is served in the pool area. The kitchen is big enough for about 2 people, but always has about 10 guests trying to cram in to get something to eat. Very limited choices. The only healthy options are fruit (bananas, oranges, apples, but note that the bananas are all gone by about 8am), oatmeal, and toast. You can get all the Fruit Loops, sausage gravy and biscuits, and donuts that you want. Yum...yuck.I was in "the old section." If we're all lucky they will demolish this wing and replace it with the new "deluxe" rooms without raising the rates (one can dream...) The doors don't seal at all against the door frame. As a result you get light, noise and wind into the room. The air conditioner barely worked. Oh, and it's pretty loud though appearing to not be that old. The bathroom sink had a flow limiter on it that made it trickle while the shower did not and it gushed water. Seems odd in California. The pool looked okay though we didn't have time. The #1 reason to stay here is the location: directly across the street from the main Disney entrance gate. Truly walking distance. If you're driving or okay taking a shuttle bus then stay elsewhere. You can likely find a better value and surely a nicer hotel experience elsewhere. One oddity: The room lighting (very poor) was via one switched outlet and a floor lamp. Unfortunately the entire socket was also switched. There weren't enough outlets, though after some groveling we did get the staff to send over a power strip. We plugged the strip into the outlet, plugged in all the phones, tablets, etc. then learned in the morning that turning off the light disabled the ENTIRE outlet and thus the power strip, not just the lamp. We awoke unhappily to uncharged cell phones, not how you want to start a visit to Disney.
