“Runs Way Behind & Understaffed”

I called to confirm our check in and was told that we could not check in until after 4pm. When arriving after 4pm, we had to wait an hour in the lobby for our room to be "inspected" by a manager after cleaning. Many other people were stuck without rooms being ready either. 45 minutes into our wait we were starving and went to the Bar & Grill that was located off the lobby of the hotel. We couldn't get any of the 3 workers to take our order. One person who did have food said he had waited over an hour for nachos. 1 hour and 15 minutes after we arrived we were given a room only after asking again. The hotel staff if friendly but very understaffed. If it takes 1 hour to get nachos, maybe you need more cooks. Over 5 hours to clean 100 rooms, maybe they need more cleaning crew. They offered no incentives for our trouble. We will not be staying here again even though it is a good location from the Edward Jones Dome and Cardinal Stadium.All rooms have a view of the pool. That is the ONLY view. There is no window to the outside world.
